The GRW-DRAWER4U is Gator's largest standard rack drawer — four rack units of depth, lockable front, and enough interior volume to hold a meaningful stash of the consumables and small tools that keep a touring rig functional through a full run. It doesn't process audio, condition power, or route signal. What it does is give a permanent, organized home inside your rack to everything that otherwise ends up scattered across a road case lid or stuffed in a backpack.

At 380 mm deep and 5.5 kg empty, this is not a lightweight addition — rack real estate costs space and payload, and four units is a significant commitment. That said, the depth is the point: shallower two-unit drawers force you to stack things or leave bulky items out entirely, while this one will comfortably swallow a handful of bodypack transmitters, a multi-tool, gaff rolls, spare cables, and a wireless frequency sheet in a single organized layer. The locking front matters in shared production environments where racks travel with multiple crews — it keeps your spares yours. Power draw is zero, so it adds nothing to your distro math.

This drawer earns its place in a large touring IEM or playback rack where the crew is self-sufficient and the rig travels show to show without being rebuilt nightly. If you're running a fly-date setup where every gram and every unit counts, four rack units for storage is probably a trade you can't make — a 2U drawer or a dedicated road case pocket makes more sense. Likewise, if your rack lives in a fixed install, a wall cabinet does the same job without burning rack space.
