Nicknames, variants, and labels

Make each unit yours — rename it, pick its band/config, relabel its ports.

Select any placed unit and the detail panel’s This unit section customizes that specific box, not the catalog entry.

  • Nickname it (“Vocal RX 1”) — nicknames follow the unit onto wires, the patch list, and exports.
  • Variants pick real configurations where they exist — like a wireless unit’s frequency band.
  • Port labels rename individual jacks (“Kick,” “VOX L”) — the wiring view and patch list read the way your actual tape labels do.
