Rack sizes and the road case

Pick a case height, understand rack units, and customize the exterior.

Gear is measured in rack units (1U = 1.75" of height). Your case size sets how many units fit — change it any time from Rig Options, and the case art, space math, and weight estimate follow.

  • Full-width vs half-rack: half-rack units occupy one side of a row; the planner pairs two halves flush automatically.
  • The paint shop: customize the case shell, metal, wear, and stickers — it’s your touring case, make it look like it.
  • Space and weight totals update live in the summary, so you know when you’re one U short before you buy anything.
