Open the planner and you start with an empty 8U road case. The whole loop is: add gear → flip to Back → wire it → read the numbers.
- Add gear from the catalog sidebar (desktop) or the Add Gear tab (phone). Search knows brands, models, and categories — typing “PSM” or “power conditioner” both work.
- Arrange by dragging units between rack slots. Half-rack units pair up side by side automatically.
- Wire on the Back view — click a jack, then click one of the jacks that lights up (or press and hold to drag a cable across, if that’s more your speed). Or let Auto-wire propose the standard runs.
- Check the math: the BOM tracks price, the health panel flags missing power or dangling signal, and rack space is counted for you.
