About the Sennheiser AD 3700
The AD 3700 is Sennheiser's flagship receive paddleA directional antenna (paddle, LPDA, helical) aimed at the stage — focuses coverage where the performers are and rejects RF from elsewhere.: a wideband directional antenna with the AB 3700 booster built into the housing, so long coax runs back to a Digital 6000 or 2000-series rack stop costing you signal. The four-position amplifier (bypass to +15 dB) exists to offset cable loss, with an LED that color-codes the current setting from across the stage.
