Work directly with Matt.

I’m Matt Winwood, the person behind IEM Rig. I work from my recording studio in Pittsburgh, with custom rigs of my own.

For your build, you work with me on the requirements, equipment choices and wiring plan, through assembly, testing and handoff. We start with the show you need to run and the gear you already have.

Start with the help you need.

Rig review

$195

A 60-minute call and written next steps for your current setup or first build.

One system. Clear priorities before you buy.

Build blueprint

An agreed layout, wiring and patch plan, equipment list and one revision.

Your rig review payment counts toward this total.

For management & production

A clear scope before anything gets ordered.

Bring your artist, musical director or tour manager into the brief. We agree the system requirements, budget and rehearsal deadline, document the decisions, and give you one project contact.

Equipment changes and added work need approval. Testing, shipping and the included handoff are set out in your quote.

Before we start.

Can you use equipment we already own?

Yes, where its condition and specifications suit the agreed system. We review the exact models and accessories before confirming what can be reused.

How much does a complete rig cost?

Every physical build has an individual quote. Equipment, cases, panels, cables, engineering, integration, testing, shipping and optional support are itemized. The review and blueprint prices do not include hardware.

How long does a build take?

We confirm a schedule after reviewing the scope, component availability and build capacity. Tell us your first rehearsal date as well as the first show so the plan includes time to learn and check the system.

Who builds and supports the rig?

IEM Rig handles the project and physical build. Your agreement names the included handoff, support allowance and workmanship terms. Manufacturer warranties and additional touring support are explained separately.

Do you prepare playback sessions?

Session programming, stem editing, tuning and show-control work are included only when explicitly quoted. Software licenses and customer-supplied files are agreed during the brief.

Can you ship internationally?

Destination, RF suitability, freight, customs and support arrangements must be confirmed before an international project is accepted. An enquiry does not reserve a build slot or confirm shipping eligibility.

Do we need a planner subscription?

No. Consultation, design and physical builds are separate services. You can enquire without an account or an existing planner design.

Do you make custom earpieces?

This service covers systems and racks. Custom earpieces and ear impressions are separate services provided by an appropriate specialist.

Tell us about the next run.

Start with what you know. You don’t need a finished design, a planner account or a complete equipment list.

We save your contact details and project brief privately so we can respond, and email a notification to the IEM Rig team. An enquiry does not reserve a build date or subscribe you to marketing.
