About the Shure HA-8089

The HA-8089 is the clear plastic corkscrew on every arena IEM rig: a helical antenna built by Professional Wireless Systems and sold through Shure as the PSM 1000 companion. Circular polarization means a beltpack antenna at any angle still couples cleanly, and 14 dBi of on-axis gain throws IEM signal across a festival stage that would swamp a paddle. Passive and transmit/receive rated, it serves combiner-fed ear rigs and long-throw mic receive alike.

Passive circularly-polarized helical, 460–900 MHz (PWS datasheet), 14 dBi on axis, 57° beamwidth, 30 dB front-to-back. Right-angle BNC female. Transmit/receive rated — the PSM 1000 long-throw standard.
